bit-defender's puzzling behavior

i tried to browse a website which returned with that page:

Q no ! : was it asking for my password set to unlock bitdefender settings?
2. : entering the password is safe there ?
3 : i entered password which did not work , disabling web protection feature get me to the required website but WHY I DO NOT SEE any EXCEPTION FOR THE WEBSITE which b.d. was blocking?

Hello,

1. It asks for the password to make changes to the Bitdefender settings
2. Entering that password is safe there, since that's a genuine Bitdefender alert
3. If the password you entered did not work, then how come you managed to disable web protection and access the website? I think the option to add an exception for that respective website was not displayed because the password was initially requested to make such changes. Once activated, any attempt to modify Bitdefender settings critical to system security will require this password.

If you ask me, I see nothing puzzling here, the software seems to have worked according to the settings.
NOTE: If you forget the password for your Bitdefender settings, you will need to reinstall Bitdefender or contact Bitdefender support for assistance.
