Activation and extend - different product?

Hi:

I have 2 subscriptions of 5 devices of Bit Defender total security. I just bought the Bitdefender Family pack with 15 subscriptions, as I was told that it was also total security. I was trying to activate and extend my current subscriptions, but I wasn't given the option to. Is that because it seems to be a different product.

If that's the case, I'll wait until it's closer to the subscription end date, but is it possible to merge all of my devices into this new subscription, or do I have to go around and install on all 10 of the devices that have bitdefended?

You are right to assume that the existing subscriptions could not be merged because the products were not identical. So, you didn't redeem the activation code for the Family Pack yet, correct? How long until your current subscriptions expire?

One expires the end of September, the other at the beginning of October.

OK, in this case I think you have two options. Or three, actually. You can either wait until the two subscriptions expire and activate the new one then, or you can activate it now and reallocate your devices so they can be protected by the Family Pack. But there's a catch here. If you purchased the Family Pack subscription from the Bitdefender website, it's validity starts from the purchase date, not the activation date, meaning that if you wait until September/October, the countdown has started already and the new license will lose validity between the purchase date and the activation date.
The other inconvenience is that even if you activate now and transfer your devices to it, the previous licenses will run empty until their expiration date, resulting also in a loss of validity…
So, the third option would be to contact Bitdefender Support, explain the situation, and ask them if they can provide a solution for this, so that you don't lose a few months validity.

I've already contacted them, and since I bought from a third party, they claim there is nothing they can do, eventhough they validated the activation code.

The only solution is to wait and activate when the existing subscriptions expire.
