Bitdefender VPN connect to my WiFi?

Why does Bitdefender VPN connect to my WiFi and become my only WiFi connection? If I turn off VPN, my WiFi (DECO) connects and everything else I have on WiFi works. Bitdefender VPN is not listed among the available networks. Does Bitdefender VPN have an SSID and password, and if so, where can I find it?

Why Bitdefender VPN Appears as a Separate Connection

Bitdefender VPN does not create its own Wi-Fi network, SSID, or require a separate Wi-Fi password. What you are experiencing is related to how VPNs function on your device.

When you turn on Bitdefender VPN, it uses your existing internet connection (in this case, your Deco Wi-Fi) and creates a secure, encrypted tunnel for your internet traffic. This may cause your device to show a different network name or status, but it is still using the same physical Wi-Fi connection.

Here's what's happening:

The VPN creates a virtual network adapter on your device, which may appear as a new connection.
Your internet traffic is routed through Bitdefender secure servers, which can make it seem like your device is connected to a different network.
Despite the appearance, you are still connected to your Deco Wi-Fi the entire time.
Other devices on your Deco network that are not using the VPN continue to work normally.

When you turn off the Bitdefender VPN, your device stops using the encrypted tunnel and returns to using the internet directly through your Deco Wi-Fi. This is why everything seems to "switch back" once the Bitdefender VPN is disabled.
