Hi, I'm on a Windows 11 Professional in Italy, running BEST with all modules under my license active and ON. Whenever I plug in my Quest 3, and I turn on Oculus app, it usually spawns 3 processes, 1 service and 2 others.
I am facing an issue where it seems that my Nvidia driver exhibits behavioral differences from a Quest 3 app launch on Windows until the next Nvidia driver reinstall or upgrade. Animations behave differently, things pop in and out over the cursor in some situations, flickering on clicking things as if i double click instead of click once, things disappearing or flickering around the edges when I focus on other activities, etc.
Is this issue documented?
Note for experts, if I watch a stream as I plug in my quest, I can see the framebuffer be corrupted in small chunks in a very temporally "not sane" way, as in, logically difficult to comprehend. Could there be malware being injected into my kernel that persists after boot? Because DirectX processes have a direct route to the kernel (imo), I suspect that's why it persists after boot. Is this spyware? Could anyone help me understand how intrinsically secure the Nvidia drivers are?
Thank you and have a great time!
