Skipped files, where can I see which files are skipped?

From the xml output in the log file:

	<NotScannedDetails

		skipped="153107"

		ioerrors="0"

		archiveBombs="0"

		passwordProtected="32"

It has a list of 32 files which are passwordprotected. But where is the list of skipped files?
These seem to be skipped because they have been scanned before and Smartscan decided to not scan them again? Seems impossible, how to asses that, will still take time to check that.
Some posts on the forum say these files are copied into a cache.
The whole file? Or just some metadata?

Tried finding more background on this, but did not find something that would help me with these questions.
- Which files are skipped?
- Why were these skipped, all because of Smartscan or other reasons?
- Where is that cache located, can I clean it? Hoe much space does it take?

Hi,

With every system scan, Bitdefender will index the files that have already been scanned, and this way the scan time will greatly decrease. Yes, you could say it's some kind of smart scanning. As for the password-protected files, this article explains what they are:

Not sure about the cache though..

Just to give an idea in terms of things to check. Probably need to make a ****** (can't use the word s c r i p t?) to go through the protected archives, to determine which ones are by design and which not.

Yeah, we had some bots and spammers in the past who were trying to inject various things and harm the forum, so I had to "censor" that word. 😁 But it can still be written with spacing or dots inbetween letters.

The unresolved items in the scan log may be restricted access archives (xar, rar, etc.), or restricted access mailboxes (Thunderbird, etc.), or content in backups maybe..
I'm not 100% sure if what you are trying to do will work, I haven't tried this myself, really.
