Does Bitdefender protect against brute force attack and network attack (intrusion detection)?

Hello,

I know that Bitdefender offers advanced options to block networkattacks through modules such as the firewall with "port scan protection" or "Advanced Threat Defense". But, compared to other antiviruses, I'am thinking of ESET, their modules are much more transparent in understanding their protection system.

I would like to know if brute force attacks (password guessing attacks) are protecting by Bitdefender modules and if this is also the case for network communications intrusion detection to search for malicious activities such as ARP Poisoning attack detection, SMB protocol, RPC, RDP…

Hi,

Although not that visible at first, the Online Threat Prevention module would be responsible for that area, and it protects from everything you have listed above.
