Unhappy with Bitdefender

Trolling my computer, deleting files without requesting owner permission.
Unable to stop running bitdefender processes with task manager.

Bitdefender thinks it knows what is best for me - and that is unacceptable.
When my current subscription is done, I will reconsider my choice.

Sorry to hear this. If you can tell us what type of files they were, and why they were flagged (if you know this), perhaps we can provide some guidance here on the forum, or you can reach out to Bitdefender Support for further assistance, if necessary.

You cannot permanently disable Bitdefender processes using Task Manager because the software uses a "SelfProtect" feature to prevent it from being terminated or modified by external applications for obvious security reasons. While you can see Bitdefender processes in Task Manager, attempting to end them will result in an error. 
To disable Bitdefender protection, you must turn off the modules within the Bitdefender interface, or for a complete removal, simply uninstall the program.
