Have anyone faced this issue where anti-theft locate feature is not working due to any bitdefender mobile security bug or android restrictions.

Can you check the Anti-theft commands in another browser? Also, try these settings (if they apply for your device model):
Go to phone settings and do the following:
Now, I'm not using an Android device and depending on the model, these could look slightly different or be located in different places, but the bottom line is that the data should be cleared and the app should be configured again, and afterwards you can resend the command and check if it works.

Hi Alex, Sorry i did get time to follow your instructions but issue is resolved now. I have upgraded my pixel 8 pro to android 16 after that i found several apps default google applications which assigned itself unnecessary permissions without my consent, so i was checking permission manager and removing extra permission. For bitdefender mobile security, randomly i changed location permission to (Don't allow) from (Allow all the time), and toggled (Use precise location) off/on and changed permission to (Allow all the time). After an hour, when i tried to locate using bitdefender central, it was able to locate precise location without any issue (Tried 3-4 times at certain intervals). I will follow your instructions if anti-theft causes problem in future. Thanks
