Have anyone faced this issue where anti-theft locate feature is not working due to any bitdefender mobile security bug or android restrictions.

Can you check the Anti-theft commands in another browser? Also, try these settings (if they apply for your device model):
Go to phone settings and do the following:
Now, I'm not using an Android device and depending on the model, these could look slightly different or be located in different places, but the bottom line is that the data should be cleared and the app should be configured again, and afterwards you can resend the command and check if it works.
