Constantly getting signed out my Bitdefender account (Windows 10)

A few days ago I received a pop up on my PC saying that I was not logged into my Bitdefender account. I tried logging in but the software kept crashing so I reinstalled it and I was able to log in. Shortly after, I noticed that I was logged out yet again and I had to reinstall it to sign in because it kept crashing again. It happened again yesterday so I decided to uninstall the software entirely and install it once again. I checked this morning and I am once again logged out of my account.

Has anyone else been having this issue? I've had Bitdefender on my PC for two years and I've never had this issue.

I think there could be several potential causes here, and even after reinstalling, leftover files or registry entries can interfere with the account login process. When uninstalling Bitdefender previously, have you used the Bitdefender Uninstall Tool available online? This would ensure all leftover files, drivers, and registry entries are wiped, so it's important to know and you can reinstall Bitdefender fresh this way.
Another reason I can think of is conflicting software. Do you have any other antivirus, firewall, or system optimization tools that may conflict with Bitdefender, causing these login/session problems? Have you installed any of these recently on your machine? If yes, and especially if you use system cleaners or aggressive optimization tools, try disabling or uninstalling them temporarily, and check if you are still being logged out afterwards.

I think this behavior may also happen if the app cannot properly communicate with Bitdefender’s servers, then it may force a logout.. If a VPN or proxy is interfering, or if the system date/time is incorrect (which breaks secure connections), or if certificates are corrupted or blocked. If you use Bitdefender VPN or another VPN, disconnect and test login. Also clear your DNS cache (ipconfig /flushdns in CMD).

I would also recommend to run a Windows update fully, especially root certificate updates, if possible.
And ensure the clock is accurate, including timezone.
