Everytime bitdefender updates, it forces a restart of my computer which results in a crash. I am using Antivirus for Mac Version 10.2.5.2 and Sonoma 14.7.4. Has anyone else had this problem and is there a fix?

Can you tell us what type of crash it is? 10.2.6.4 is the latest version, does the crash manifest itself when you are trying to update from 10.2.5.2 to 10.2.6.4? I'm interested in how the crash manifests itself and if the system is still usable. I think logs may be required, as these should reveal the reason behind the crash. But we'll get to that.
