Hi, when Web Protection is enabled on my iPhone (15 Pro) my Internet connection is lost every now and then. At least a few times a day.
I did my research and found more people with this issue. Yet no fix but completely disabling Web protection. I even tried completely removing and reinstalling the app. Nothing works.
So what happens is that when I am on my iPhone connected to WiFi, suddenly the Internet (browsing or app) gives no response. Wifi still connected with full signal. I checked in my Deco (XE75) and indeed the phone is connected but no traffic up or down.
Only way to fix then is to disable WiFi so it gets back going on 5G and then I can enable WiFi again and Internet is back.
I am now pretty sure it has to do with the Web Protection VPN that process all requests to Bitdefender DNS for scanning.
This gets so frustrating that I now disabled Web protection but that is the important functionality I got the Bitdefender license for…
Please help me fix this.
