Last night I did my usual back up to time Machine that went ok as I was planning to upgrade to Mac OS 26 today. It went ok.
I upgraded this morning and then tried to do a back up to Time Machine which was blocked with the following message
An unauthorized app attempted to access your backups.
App: /System/Library/CoreServices/TimeMachine/backupd
We blocked the app to prevent it from altering the content of your backups.
It appears that the anti ransomware didnt like it. I have done a back up switching off the Time Machine Protection as an interim measure
I also did a re-start and waited for the update report to occur and still the issue is there.
Bitdefender for AV Version 10.2.5.2 by the way
I suspect that your devs are working on upgrades to Bitdefender and hopefully this is a temporary thing, or are there other actions I can be taking
