I have total security that runs out in 23 days, I just purchased the premium. will it automacally swith over when my first one expires?
Hello.
Since the two subscriptions are not identical, it won't be possible to extend the validity of Total Security using the activation code for Premium Security. During activation, you will only be given the option to add the new subscription in parallel with the existing one. This means that the two subscriptions will overlap until Total Security expires. You can redeem the activation code for Premium Security and then reallocate your devices to it by following the steps from this article:

It's not necessary to uninstall and reinstall Bitdefender on the devices that are already protected, once you transfer them from the Total Security subscription to the Premium Security subscription, the change will be reflected on each device. Keep in mind that Total Security will still be displayed in the UI because this is the core antivirus for Premium Security as well, but the expiration date will be of course adjusted to the new one and you will benefit from its complete set of features.
Once you reallocate all your devices, the previous Total Security subscription will run empty until its expiration date. Should you wish, you can also remove it prior to that, by contacting the Support teams (so that you don't have two subscriptions running at the same time for a while).
FInally, you should stop the auto-renewal for the Total Security subscription, by following these steps:
