Is 954 414 9655 Bitdefender's legit telephone number?

Hi everyone,

I recently received an unsolicited call from the number 954 414 9655 claiming to be from Bitdefender support. The caller said there was an issue with my antivirus subscription and urged me to provide remote access to my computer or pay an immediate fee to "renew" it.

This sounded suspicious, especially since I've never initiated contact with support. Has anyone else gotten calls from this number? Is it a legitimate Bitdefender line, or is this a common scam targeting users?

According to the official Bitdefender site, they never make unsolicited calls, so I'm leaning towards scam, but I'd appreciate any confirmation or advice on what to do next (like reporting it).

It's actually Bitdefender Consumer Support's telephone number.

Anyway, @Alexandru_BD, who works for Bitdefender, can confirm this.
