Getting all automated emails from Bitdefender in french

Hello.

For some reason all the emails I get from bitdefender is in french. I have selected english both on the app and in the broswer.

As I don't speak french I have no idea what the emails say, nor do I understand why this problem started.

This seems to be a localization glitch on Bitdefender’s backend — it can sometimes send emails based on your IP geolocation rather than your language settings in the app or website.

🔧 Try this:

1. Go to central.bitdefender.com → My Account → Preferences → Make sure English is selected.
2. If it already is, log out and back in, and clear cookies just in case a browser cache is misbehaving.
3. You can also reach out to Bitdefender Support and ask them to reset your preferred communication language manually.
