Password manager print out

I have a separate list of my passwords, can i print out a list of my passwords from password mgr to cleanup my other list? Thanks, Tom Altman

Great question — and I’m glad you’re taking time to organize your credentials properly.

While Bitdefender Password Manager doesn’t currently offer a native “Print” feature, I strongly advise against printing passwords for security reasons. Physical copies can easily be lost, stolen, or photographed — and unlike a digital vault, they don’t require authentication to access. 😬

🔐 Instead, here’s a safer alternative:

Use the export function (temporarily) to review your vault in a CSV format.
Cross-check your separate list on your computer — no printing needed.
Once done, delete the exported file securely (with file shredder software, if possible).

If printing is absolutely necessary, consider:

Printing only non-critical accounts (like newsletter logins).
Using a secure printer and shredding the paper afterward.

Just a quick reminder: while organizing passwords is great practice, printed copies are inherently risky. If someone stumbles upon them — that's full access, no master password required. 😬

📌 So if you must print:

Stick to non-sensitive accounts.
Use a secure printer, and shred the paper after use.
Never include your master password anywhere.
