SafePay locks my screen

SafePay has locked my screen with its swirled water pic.

I've read 1 post from 2023 that has no answer other than it was referred to some dept.

I've tried:

Task Manager was unable to end SafePay program from running.

Rebooting.

Pressing the ESC key.

Nothing.

I've had other minor issues with SafePay

I'm NOT impressed with this added work in my post to reclaim my computer.

Turns out in order to regain my screen, I had to Signout from Task Manager, then sign back in. Switching Users does not work not does End Task.

SafePay is designed to operate as a **secured isolated browser** in full-screen mode to prevent tampering, even by local tools. That’s why *End Task* or *Switch User* usually fails — it’s part of the security hardening.

🚀 Tip going forward:

Before launching SafePay again, go to:

**Bitdefender → Settings → SafePay → uncheck “Automatically open SafePay for banking sites”**

This will avoid unexpected lock-ins when browsing.

If this continues, I’d recommend reaching out to Bitdefender Support and asking them to investigate persistent locking behavior — maybe it’s linked to resolution settings or GPU acceleration.
