No calendar in Mobile Security

I use both iPad and iPhone with IOS 26.0.1. Trying to activate Scam Alert but Calendar is not under Mobile Security. Cannot, therefore, initiate full access. What other options to activate Scam Alert.

You’re absolutely right — Scam Alert relies on Calendar access to detect malicious invites, which are a common phishing vector on iOS.

If you don’t see the Calendar permission listed under Mobile Security in Settings > Privacy, try the following:

1. Open the Bitdefender app, go to Scam Alert > try enabling it again — this should prompt the OS to request Calendar access.
2. If that doesn’t work, delete the app and reinstall it — on first launch, it may re-trigger the permission request properly.
3. Finally, check Settings > Privacy > Calendars to see if Bitdefender is even listed — if not, it means the app hasn’t requested the permission.

Hopefully Bitdefender can address this in an upcoming update with a better prompt system. Let us know if this helps!
