I was "hacked" via an email attachment (invitation) that I opened and provided my outlook password.
My contact list was sent the same invitation attachment.
I had difficulty getting into my Microsoft Outlook Account Profile, but finally accessed and changed the Account and Email password.
I use the computer for several banking, credit card and brokerage accounts - all Password Protected.
I have Bitdefender Total Security. I have run the system check and the "system" is clean, except for the Password Protected files. There are multiple "notification" notices of Blocked Threats.
Can I continue to use the computer, using the Bitdefender Encryption or are there other steps required to protect sensitive files and data.?
