How Do You Connect A VPN To A Router?
You'll need to buy a business router or hardware appliance like Protectli with OPNsense routing/firewall. Search for routers that have VPN connection listed in specs. Many cheap consumer routers don't have this option. Look up the documentation on your VPN provider and it will give examples of setting up different types of VPN connections.
If you have a supported device, login to your router (example gateway) 192.168.1.1
locate the settings for vpn (different for each device)
enter the configuration specified by your vpn provider to create a connection with your account
save the configuration
check your traffic exit IP to ensure it is working
