On Thursday, November 6th, Bitdefender celebrated a remarkable milestone: 24 years of innovation, protection, and technological excellence. Just one day later, the party continued as the company unveiled the Ferrari SF-23 car right in front of its Bucharest headquarters, marking the official extension of its multi-year partnership with Scuderia Ferrari HP.
A Partnership fueled by performance and precision
Bitdefender and Ferrari first joined forces back in 2022 to bring together two worlds defined by speed, intelligence, and reliability. According to the official press release, the extended partnership will see Bitdefender continue as a Team Partner of Scuderia Ferrari HP, featuring prominent branding on safety-related elements such as the drivers’ race suits and helmets, and enhanced visibility on the "Monoposto". Both companies share a relentless drive for excellence. Ferrari’s mastery of engineering precision and performance mirrors Bitdefender’s commitment to rapid, intelligent threat detection and response, a vital necessity in a world where milliseconds can make the difference between safety and compromise. The multi-year partnership means that Bitdefender remains Ferrari’s exclusive worldwide partner in the Cybersecurity category and will expand its role with deeper technological integration with Ferrari.
Celebration at Bitdefender HQ
Despite a rainy Friday, the esplanade in front of Bitdefender’s headquarters was buzzing with energy. No amount of late autumn raindrops could dim the excitement as the attendees gathered to admire the majestic prancing horse which was placed imposingly on a pedestal. Employees and special guests got the unique chance to witness the scarlet Ferrari single-seater up close, a symbol of passion, power, and technological sophistication. Those present at the event were also treated to exclusive merchandise, delicious treats, and a photo pit stop booth where they could snap pictures and take home custom battlecards as souvenirs. The highlight for many was the display of the helmets worn by Scuderia Ferrari HP’s star drivers, Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton, each with their own unique design featuring the Bitdefender logo.
In this sport, reaction time is everything, and elite drivers respond to high-speed scenarios in just 150–220 milliseconds, far faster than the average human reaction time of 250ms. During the event, guests had the chance to test their own reaction speed in a dedicated challenge corner, bringing a fun, interactive layer to the celebration. This parallel between racing precision and cyber defense is no coincidence. Just as drivers must react in fractions of a second to changing track conditions and race events, Bitdefender’s technology is built to detect, analyze, and neutralize digital threats at lightning speed, ensuring safety and performance no matter the conditions.
The double celebration, marking Bitdefender’s 24th anniversary and its renewed alliance with one of motorsport’s most iconic teams showcased the company’s continued commitment to pushing the limits of speed, intelligence, and innovation. In both racing and cybersecurity, milliseconds matter, and Bitdefender, like Scuderia Ferrari HP, continues to prove that precision, teamwork, and passion drive lasting success. And perhaps the highlight of the day was being able to celebrate that success together with the people of Bitdefender who helped achieve it.
The SF-23 car will be displayed in Baneasa Shopping City in Bucharest until November 23rd.
