Many of the components of the Online Threat Prevention feature, state that they "Checks every web page you access for X" is this processing carried out locally on my device, or are the websites visited checked on Bitdefender's servers?
My concern is if Bitdefender is processing every web page I visit on their servers, this provides another organisation (bitdefender) with a potential log of my activity, in addition to my VPN provider. Good VPN providers usually have third party verification that logs have not been kept, but there is no such confirmation available for Bitdefender's Online Threat Prevention does not transmit visited sites to their servers or that logs are not kept.
I hope I've put this query in the right place, I've not before posted on this forum, and apologies if this has already been asked, I wasn't able to find a similar post anywhere.
