I have just renewed my subscription and thought that Password Manager was included but it shows as a free trial option for 3 months. Is this correct and it isn’t included as advertised? Anyone had this issue.
Hello,
How exactly did you renew your protection, was it done automatically through the automatic renewal feature, or did you place a new order online for Total Security? I'm asking because Password Manager was introduced only recently in the Total Security suite, thus previous versions did not have this component and it's not being added by default when the subscription renews automatically, because the structure stays the same. It is only if you place a new order on the Bitdefender website that you'll get the latest version of Total Security which now includes a password manager. Perhaps you can request a refund for that one, and place a new order and this way you'll get the password manager as well, and maybe even a better deal since Black Friday is still ongoing on the official website? I'll leave the link for Bitdefender Support, should you consider this option:

Hi,
Thanks for getting back to me.
I purchased it through Amazon, who offered a much better price than my renewal offer from Bitdefender. The version number is Version 10.2.6.5 and it was sold as 2025 version.
I understand. Bitdefender stopped versioning its products some time ago, so there are no more annual versions, for example 2024 or 2025, and everything is updated to the latest version anyway, whether we are talking about the product or the signatures. So, even if you purchase a previous version, it is updated to the newest build after the first update, just something to keep in mind. 😉
If you ask me, I think it's unlikely they had the latest version including a password manager on sale, because it's very possible that they are selling from the stock they made some time ago, i.e. licenses that were distributed to them prior to the introduction of this password manager component. That's just my assumption. Anyway, I know the guy in charge of the Amazon marketplace, so if you purchased Bitdefender from their official account and not another reseller, I can ask around. I just need your email address, the one you used to place the order. You can send it to me via PM. And of course, if you are not satisfied with your purchase (and if the license comes from the offiical Bitdefender seller account, that's very important), you can always ask for a refund within 30 days from the purchase date.
