I’m encountering a reproducible issue when using Bitdefender Free together with the games EA Sports FC25 and FC26.
Issue Description
When Real-Time Protection is enabled, the game crashes during the initial loading screen (right before the main menu).
As soon as I disable Real-Time Protection, the game launches normally.
Steps to Reproduce
- Enable Real-Time Protection in Bitdefender Free
- Launch FC25 or FC26
- Game loads to the initial screen
- Game crashes to desktop before entering the menu
Expected Behavior
The game should load normally while protection remains active.
Actual Behavior
The game crashes every time during the loading phase if Real-Time Protection is enabled.
Temporary Workaround
Disabling Real-Time Protection completely stops the crash (but this is not a viable security solution).
System Information
- OS: Windows 11 Pro (Build 26200)
- Laptop: HP Victus 15-fa1xxx
- CPU: Intel Core i5-12500H
- RAM: 16 GB
- Secure Boot: Enabled
- VBS: Enabled
- BIOS: AMI F.20 (17 Apr 2025)
Please investigate this conflict between Bitdefender Real-Time Protection and EA Sports FC25/FC26.
