Call blocking/scams?

Hi there,

Could someone run through the Bitdefender Call Blocking tool.

How does it work? For example if my friend or a work colleague calls me and has their phone set so their number is not announced or I don't have their number stored in the contacts on my phone will Bitdefender block this number?

Hello.

Call Blocking can block hidden numbers, which are numbers without caller ID, like: "Private", "Private Number", "No Caller ID" etc.

On the other hand, if a number is not stored in your contact list, Call Blocking will NOT block that number by default.

For example, i live in North Macedonia and i receive a call from, let's say +38977123456 (+389 is my country's code) and the phone number is not in my contact list.

But, Call Blocking will not block that number, because that number is not hidden, i can see the number on my screen.
