Using Windows 11 with bitdefender and VPN installed and running. Yesterday I clicked a link and started getting popups for McAfee, Norton and Chrome, though they weren't really for those sites. They claimed that my system had been compromised (it obviously had been). When I closed one notification another would immediately pop up. I restarted Windows but the notifications continued. I ran a bitdefender total system scan which found/resolved 1 item but the notifications continued. I went to Chrome settings and disabled notifications for this site. My question is why didn't bitdefender block this access?
