Will single device license work on Total security account?

I am running bit defender total security trial license on my single device. In the console it says upto 5 devices. I actually need bit defender total security on only one device. If I buy a one device license, will it work for me? Or I must buy a 5 device license to be able to use bit defender total security.

Hello,

You can purchase Total Security as an individual plan (up to 5 devices) or family plan (up to 5 account), but it doesn't have the 1-device option. Should you require protection for a single device, you can opt for Antivirus Plus. However, this does not include the full set of features found in Total Security..
The other option would be to simply purchase a Total Security individual plan, regardless if it's for 5 devices, you may find it useful later on, or perhaps you can also install it on your mobile devices (iOS, Android) as it includes the Mobile Security component as well.

It will work just fine on one device, even with emptly slots in the subscription, this doesn't affect the actual software functionality.
