Some time ago, I tried to activate a Bitdefender Secure Pass trial from the Bitdefender website. At that time, I received an email saying I couldn’t use the trial because I had already used one before. So I assumed it didn’t activate.
Later on, I purchased Bitdefender Total Security (1-year subscription), which clearly includes:
- Security
- VPN Standard
- Secure Pass
My Total Security subscription is active and working.
However, I am now receiving emails saying that my Secure Pass trial period is over and asking me to upgrade to a Secure Pass subscription even though Secure Pass is already included in my active Total Security plan.
From what I can tell, it looks like:
- An old Secure Pass trial is still attached to my account in the background
- At the same time, I have a paid Secure Pass entitlement via Total Security
- The emails are being triggered by the expired trial, not my paid subscription
Could a Bitdefender moderator or support agent please:
- Remove the expired Secure Pass trial from my account, or
- Correctly link Secure Pass only to my Total Security subscription so these emails stop?
