How has the Bitdefender Antivirus for Mac product improved, since January 1st, 2025? What qualitative and quantitative enhancements have been implemented in this specific product during 2025 – including those that are visible to the user as well as those that are more subtle and hidden?

The cybersecurity threat landscape continues to rapidly evolve, becoming increasingly complex with new attack methods and vectors emerging. Has Antivirus for Mac correspondingly evolved in 2025 through the implementation of both small and large innovations? And, what are the major initiatives on the roadmap for 2026 for the Antivirus for Mac product?

I noticed that the User Guide for the Antivirus for Mac product has not been updated since November, 2022 - suggesting that no meaningful product improvements have been implemented in the prior three years?

Additionally, the product release notes only describe maintenance "bug fixes and improvements" and not the adoption of new technologies and methods to enhance malware protection. Am I mistaken?

@Alexandru_BD is working on getting someone from the Bitdefender Mac product development team to participate in the Bitdefender Community Forum; however, this is not as straightforward as it may seem. As you may be aware, software product developers at any company are often heavily engaged in testing, reviewing, and resolving issues within their developed products.

As a result, participating in the Community Forum may be time-consuming for them. While there is a possibility that a member of the Bitdefender Mac product development team may join the Bitdefender Community Forum, there is no guarantee if or when this will happen.
