Anyone else having a problem while playing MSN games?

Every time I play 'Screwing Out Bolts and Nuts' on MSN games, a Norton scan appears and drops me out of the game. I do not have Norton. I have tried to contact the gaming people at MSN; however, no one will reply to my emails. I have turned off my ad blocker for this site in order for me to play. The problem with this is I earn points and they're in the bank and I can't get them without ads. Also, you can get free tools for the game by watching an ad. Since there are no ads allowed by me I cannot do this. Is anyone else having this problem while playing games on MSN?

It took 24 hours. But, I nabbed Norton.

I turned my ad blocker back on. Now, I can no longer play this game on MSN games.

The game Norton seems to like to destroy for me is SCREW OUT: BOLTS AND NUTS.😭😕

That's a scam. It's a fake infection notification coming from the browser. You can learn how to spot them in the article below:

The usual remediation steps are to disable/remove any unknown browser extensions that might have been bundled with other downloads, and to reset your browser.

Yeah, you’re not the only one this has been happening to quite a few people on MSN Games, especially with puzzle-style games like Screwing Out Bolts and Nuts.

What’s likely going on isn’t Norton itself, but an embedded security/ad scan that MSN (or one of their ad partners) runs before or during gameplay. Even if you don’t have Norton installed, their ad network sometimes triggers a Norton-branded scan in a new tab or overlay. When that happens, the game loses focus and basically kicks you out.

If you want, try one session in a clean browser (no extensions, default settings) just to confirm it’s the ad/security layer causing it

This kind of thing is one reason I’ve been testing gameplay on sites outside the MSN ecosystem. Even fast-paced or animation-heavy games (like Cuphead-style action games (https://cuphead-apk.com/) I’ve been experimenting with on mobile) tend to run more smoothly when you’re not dealing with aggressive ad or security overlays interrupting input and focus.
