VPN won't connect to financial website

If I try to access my bank online the VPN prevents me from logging in. If I turn off the VPN I can access it, of course. If I turn off the VPN to access my online banking and the turn the VPN back on after I'm logged in, is the VPN protecting me during my banking session?

Hi,

To answer your question, the VPN will encrypt your traffic after loggin in, so this could be another workaround, in the event the login is not possible while connected to the VPN.
