Hi

Google has suddenly decided I am under 18 for search results, which is very far from true. I've tried to reset the safesearch setting but it says that it might have been set by an antivirus, and admin or parent. I wonder if anyone else has had this problem or knows how to fix it.

Google Chrome 144.0.7559.97 x64 - BD SecurePass 1.2.9 - uBlock Origin Lite 2026.118.1828

BD Parental Control, BD VPN And BD Anti-Tracker Are NOT Installed

I'm running Windows as Administrator.

I did a test and here's the result:

As you can see from the screenshot, i can change the SafeSearch setting without any issues / restrictions.

TBH, in your case, i don't think that Bitdefender is somehow related to your issue, unless BD Parental Control is installed / configured on your device(s).
