VPN auto-connect doesn't work for applications

Hello,

I would like to be automatically connected via VPN as soon as I start the Brave browser. Unfortunately, this does not work. I have also added other programs to the auto-connect list on a trial basis, but unfortunately that does not work either.

What could be the reason for this and how can it be fixed?

I'm running Windows 10 and Bitdefender Premium Security.

Okay, after testing it out a bit, I can report that it works as soon as I activate anti-tracker and/or adblocker in the VPN settings.
