I buy and use antivirus software NOT to have to spend every hour of the day applying exclusions for legitimate websites on my kids devices.
As checked, the website is not blocked by Bitdefender. The image below confirms the same.
Regards
I believe you, but on my kid's Win 11 machine (and in console) it was blocked.
It may be possible that you are using Bitdefender Parental Control and have selected a category under which this website falls, although I am not completely sure.
There have been cases where the Malware Research Team has placed certain websites under Bitdefender Parental Control categories that are different from the usual website categories.
If that is the case, or even if it is not related to Bitdefender Parental Control, you may need to get in touch with Bitdefender Support. They can then coordinate with the Bitdefender Malware Research Team and ask them to review this case.
Kindly contact Bitdefender support by visiting https://www.bitdefender.com/consumer/support/help/
Select, How to's & Troubleshooting Bitdefender products→Troubleshooting→I don't know→Contact Support→ You will get the option of chat, call or email.
To get an immediate update, make use of the chat option. Also, ensure that no ad blockers or privacy extensions are enabled in your web browser, as they may prevent the chat window from appearing.
Flexx is onto something here, I also think this is more likely to happen due to Parental Control settings. Because the website is not inherently blocked by the antivirus otherwise, there's no logic behind that, since the page is safe and trusted. With Parental Control, you can block entire categories of websites or make exceptions based on URL or topic. I think this would be the first thing to check, if and how Parental Control is configured, and take it from there. Here's a useful link about this feature:

Thanks for the engagement. Fair enough assessment on Parental Controls. Here is the configuration for this profile (attached). Any ideas which one Nasa.gov would fall under?
Hello again.
Nasa.gov would fall under category Education or Government.
Strange thing is that both categories are Allowed, but Nasa.gov is actually blocked.
I think that your best option is to contact Bitdefender Consumer Support, as already suggested by @Flexx.
@Alexandru_BD Any thoughts on this?
