JAVA ROOTKIT VULNERABILITY "MOD MINECRAFT"

Greetings! Im a Bitdfender user for years, and Im from Brazil. Im writing this post to report a vulnerability error in Bitdfender detection system: I was sent a Java file that pretended to be a Minecraft mod, but it was actually a rootkit virus... The problem is this: Before running the test, we checked with Bitdefender, and even after running it, Bitdefender was unable to detect the virus behavior, much less read the network channels sending data to the hackers... I still have the two Java files that contain viruses saved here. Where can I send them, please? I want to send this virus to Bitdefender support to study and add it to the antivirus database! I dont want users of this antivirus to go through the same tragedy I did.

PPlease, I await contact from support, from a Bitdefender specialist, so that I can send them the two virus files to be mapped and blocked. Thank you.

If you believe that a website or file is not being detected by Bitdefender as malicious or phishing, kindly report it to Bitdefender malware research team using the form provided at the link below:

If the website or file is found to be malicious or phishing, detection will be added within a maximum of 72 hours. However, if no detection is created after 72 hours, the website or file will be considered safe, as determined by Bitdefender malware research team.

Im trying to send the file via the link, but it wont load! The 'submit' button keeps spinning but it doesnt send!

For me, the consumer-based submission portal worked fine. Below is the image for the same.

Nevertheless, use the Bitdefender Business Submission Forum to report the sample. The sample will reach the same Bitdefender Malware Research Team. Make sure to select "Bitdefender GravityZone Business Security" as the product, and in the description section, you can include relevant information as to why you think the submitted sample is a false negative.
