Getting threat block notices on unknown probably old computers that show not protected?

I have had it seems bitdefender since 2007 (per this forum acct)

I have had on lots of prior devices but some showing up in my device list I can not tell what they are by generic descriptions of old computers I think I scrapped.

I just got a 3 day ago notice on BD site: 3 Days ago: 2 threats were blocked on DESKTOP-8V3RDB4. The device is safe.

Yet on my list of devices (I have had only 1 desktop since 2018 now using and its not this and it is protected)  But on my device list says:\

DESKTOP-8V3RDB4   [No idea what this is]

This device isn't protected.

So it isn't protected yet it is stopping threats?  Maybe someone else using in but would be from pre-2018 and I think I left it somewhere to be donated to charity. But I don't even recall what make it was.  I go back to OS/2 Wang days with 3 foot diamter huge hard drives and even card readers before that.  But I doubt i Bitdefender was even an idea back then :)

How can my non protected, unknown old desktop be stopping threats?

Compal in Kunshan is no clue it makes many different brands of computers per AI search.

Hi,

Please post two screenshots, one from Central, and one from Bitdefender, if installed on that device and if you still own that device of course, so we can compare the information displayed. Make sure to blur your account/email address, since this is a forum after all.

2 threats were blocked on DESKTOP-8V3RDB4. The device is safe. - This sounds like a notification in Central, am I right? If you open Bitdefender on your current device, can you find this alert in the Notification section and does Bitdefender show that your device is protected?

This is a bit confusing just from the text, so we'll have to see some pictures to better understand what's going on there..

Does the old PC still work?

in any case, it must no longer be up to date.

If you accessed your old PC, I advise you to uninstall Bitdefender.

What is the version to install on your PC?
