I seen this on my notifications yesterday morning, the fire wall had allowed this, can someone tell me if this would be used by Bitdefender? As I asked Copilot, first answer was that it could be Malware, said suspicious based on path alone unless you ran a legitimate installer that uses a RAR SFX package(rare these days)
Asked again second answer was that Bitdefender uses this during updates and installations, goes on to say that these folders delate themselves automatically after the process finishes, which is why the file often disappears when you check it. I can not find the file, but can someone tell where I would see it if it is still there somewhere and what the packages were for?
I asked Scamio thier answer was that based on info provided there is no indication of a scam or deceptive activity.
I have done full scans but the scan numbers are less than my full scan was 5 days ago, about 1/3 less. Scans show nothing wrong, My version build is 27.0.59.328, also receive daily updates.
I did see a discussion on the community from 2014 but that is along time ago and a lot has changed since then.
