Security/privacy for browsers

Question

Hi All,

While certain BD capabilities are only able to be used on the major browsers and email service providers, I AM able to utilise BD "traffic light" and "anti-tracking" on Brave browser. I also use DuckDuckGo browser, however, but (probably displaying laughable ignorance) do not see how to add those extensions to DDG browser.

How can I do that?

Thanks for the knowledgeable observations and advice. I have the anti-track active on my Brave browser and have not had any issues so, as you suggest, there may have been improvements.

Yep, DDG is not a supported Bitdefender browser.

At this time, I'm using a different AV and am helping from past experience in using BD, and one of the first things I did was to disable on install,  Anti-Tracker. I and another former prominent member here used to do the same thing. There were random webpage issues with it. Maybe it's gotten better since then? But, I don't remember if it did it's job totally within Brave as I was enabling Aggressively block trackers and ads in Brave Shield, and was, am very happy with those results :)

Hi Scott,

My thanks to you for taking the time to address the issue.

While I fear that I do not understand the explanation of the incompatibility of DDG browser, I understand that BD does not work on DDG.

I also have the BD anti-tracker as an extension on Brave….and I take it that that works fully on the browser?  I use as little Google functionality as possible on the web, so search using Brave over the Brave browser.
