SecurePass and Credit cards autofill

Hello,

I upgraded from Bitdefender password manager to the new Securepass. It seems to be working well, autofilling my passwords, but it does not offer me an autofill for the credit cards i loaded into the Securepass system. They don't even show up in the securepass menu if i click the extension icon (in Firefox). How do I get Securepass to recognize and autofill a credit card when I purchase something?

Hello,

Until @Alexandru_BD or someone else with more SecurePass experience shows up, have you tried right clicking in an open area of the window, and get an option to fill in the information as shown in step 4 of the below link?

Try disabling any other extensions you have enabled, and if it works for the SecurePass extension, re-enabling the others one at a time to see which one is the possible culprit. Also, if you have BD Anti-Tracker enabled, try disabling it for that website, and see if it works, possibly adding the site into its Exceptions?

okay so this is weird…… i went to a website and just got to a page to add a credit card, and securepass popped up my credit card list! That was nice… i didn't click on anything and after about 30 seconds the popup just randomly disappeared (is it suppsoed to time out). on top of that, now i can't get it back! I right clicked under the credit card number box and securepass is in the menu, but it is offering to autofill my password for the website, NOT my credit card.

Edit: okay, i had to refresh the page, and THEN it asked me which credit card number i wanted to put it, and did it successfully, but there must be some way to manually ask securepass to put the number in.

Oddly when autofilling a password the securepass has a little icon for securepass in the username and password boxes (same as password manager used to have) but there is no such icon in the credit card box.

Do you have Chrome installed, or can verify if it works more seamlessly with Edge? And I know we want to get it to FAD with FF, but just for comparisons sake.

i installed securepass on edge and the behavior was exactly the same as firefox.

I also tried a different website and the behavior was the same. when the page first loads it pops up the credit card list, but if you hit dismiss, there is no way to get it back. If you refresh the page, it does pop up again. Also if you click on a credit card, it does not give you the option to change it. so if you click the wrong one by accident, you are screwed. no option to change it.

Thank you for trying, @Takket this could be useful information for @Alexandru_BD or for off forum Support, that it's browser wide. Unfortunately, I use a different PM as to be of any real help, so hopefully this gets resolved for you.
