Hello world!
I own an HP laptop (Windows 11) and two Samsung Galaxy smartphones from A series (Android 16/OneUI 8.0 and Android 11/OneUI 3.1)...
On both smartphones, I also have installed (from Samsung Galaxy Store) Rethink Network Guard (open-source DNS+Firewall+VPN application) and Secure Wi-Fi (for which I pay a monthly subscription)...
Few days ago, I've tried to activate VPN Premium on all three devices.
On Windows 11 (25H2) this process was really... piece of cake (I'm not sure, but I think this is the most accurate translation of Romanian expression "floare la ureche")...
The troubles began on Android, when I've tried to connect BitDefender VPN in order to protect my real IP address...
This way, I've found out that only one VPN application can be active on a specific device, due to Android's different architecture and philosophy (as operating system).
Talking with ChatGPT and Gemini, I decided to keep Network Guard for secure DNS (address resolution) and BitDefender VPN as solely application for creating that secured tunnel for accessing Internet...
But, theory is fain (both AI agents suggested same plan of action), yet practice (I need a step-by-step checklist, written by an Android expert or experienced user) is far more complex...
Can anybody help me?
Please!
