On restoring my data drive BitDefender has become over selective with numerous false positives every day. I code in a number of languages but not for commercial use. One example was a suite of programs (18 & 20 support files) where I use a CSV file for the setup and operation items by my scripts. I decided to upgrade one of the programs and when testing it, Bitdefender disabled multiple copies including compiled versions. Took me ages and help from AI (which did not finally solve the problem). I eventually worked out that one cell in the csv file was corrupted (in all the copies in various directories) It was not an inconsequential cell but sufficient to cause the programs to error. After much discovery I simply had to delete the particular cell and reinstate it for the programs to function again. The scripts disabled were not included in Quarantine but were referenced in the BitDefender Atc\Feedback folder - so confirming BitDefender was giving false positives. I have named all folders etc in the Exceptions lists prior to this occurrence and others like it. I did not have any of these problems before I needed to restore the data drive.
