When will a fix for BitDefender blocking Fortnite be available?

Question

For a few days Fortnite has refused to load, instead displaying an ESP-DIST-001 connection error.  According to this Reddit thread

BitDefender have identified a problem and are working to fix it.

I'd prefer to have the official fix rather than the workaround described in the post.

Is anyone else experiencing the same problem, and is there any info on  when might this problem be fixed?

I am experiencing the same issue a little annoying the work around i had was just creating a rule in the firewall setting and apply to all but i don't really feel like that should be the work around I definitely think there should be a fix, as i rather not have every app just pass through the firewall 😅
