Scam detection has no false positive override

I have Bitdefender Total Security, and two of the licenses are on our Android 16 phones. I received a text message the other day that is valid but blocked and apparently deleted. Bitdefender acted upon a false positive. The text is valid and is related to electrical work that is now completed on my home.

The SMS and Scam Notification protection is either "On" or "Off", with no option to quarantine or to mark the message as a false positive. I want flagged messages to go into quarantine.

Bitdefender is blocking messages I would delete, so I do not want to disable this feature. The inability to recover a false positive is not good.

Hello,

Bitdefender should not automatically delete messages, it should only alert. Maybe the default SMS app on your phone quarantined them, check if you can find them in the "Spam & Blocked" section of the SMS app, depending on your device model.

Thank you, I found it. In Google Messages, you have to click on the profile photo to see the list of folders and settings. I should have known better and checked that first.
