Unable to access websites and apps because of the VPN

Does a Bitdefender Premium Security exist without a VPN ?

When I activate the VPN in normal web session or Safepay session, i am unable to access 80 - 90% of websites or a lot of my appilcations don't work because the VPN blocks the access to their website editor (licence control , cloud interface, bank and financial ,etc…)

Hello,

That behavior usually has to do with the protocol being used, or websites detecting and blocking a VPN connection (especially banking / financial websites) or the DNS. You can switch between protocols until you find one that works best for you:

Just from my personal experience, I've found switching protocols as @Alexandru_BD mentioned helps for websites and banking. I used to get a prompt from my bank when trying to login to confirm if it was really me, sent to my email address they have on their end.

I also found connecting to a closer server helps as well, and not from another country. In the US, there are plenty of servers, so I connect to the closer one in which I don't have any, or haven't had any login or website issues for about the last 1 - 1.5 years. I'm using a different VPN, but it has applied to the other VPN's I've used in the past (except for one that is know for webpage login, captcha issues).

thanks for answer, i also changed VPN Mode in BitDefender and am testing to see if the situation is better
