Videos now don't load to Brighteon and Instagram

I was able to load my videos to all platforms, but now I'm unable to load to Brighteon and Instagram. I have turned off the VPN, anti-tracker and encrypted web scan, cleared the cache, deleted low-view videos off Brighteon. I have tried loading with another internet service. But, I continue to be unable to load videos to just these two platforms. I believe it is still a setting on Bitdefender that is blocking the upload. What else can I do?

Hi,

Since the issue occurs only with Brighteon and Instagram, and you’ve already ruled out the VPN, Anti-Tracker, Encrypted Web Scan, browser cache, and even the Internet connection, the next step would be to determine whether another Bitdefender protection module is involved.
As a test, temporarily disable the remaining Bitdefender protection modules one at a time and try uploading the video again after each change. In particular, I would check Online Threat Prevention and the Firewall. Please remember to turn each protection feature back on after testing. Here's the full procedure on how to do this:

You can also check Bitdefender’s Notifications section immediately after a failed upload to see whether anything was blocked at that time.

If the upload starts working after disabling Online Threat Prevention, you can try adding Brighteon and Instagram as website exceptions rather than leaving the protection disabled. If disabling the Firewall resolves it, check the browser/application rules and make sure the browser you are using is allowed network access. If the videos still fail to upload even with Bitdefender’s protection modules temporarily disabled, that would strongly suggest the cause is outside Bitdefender. In that case, it would also be worth testing another browser and checking whether the same video file, format, and size can be uploaded to both platforms.

Let us know what happens when you test with the remaining Bitdefender modules disabled, and we can narrow it down further.
