Hi everyone,I am opening this new post because the active Encrypted Web Scan bug has made it impossible for me to post updates or replies in my original technical report thread. Whenever I try to submit a detailed reply, Cloudflare's security flags the session due to the mutated TLS handshake, silently dropping my messages.Since I cannot reply there, here is the final precise update regarding my troubleshooting:
- Game Launcher: This same issue is completely breaking the Epic Games login. The security handshake gets scrambled, forcing Epic to prompt me for 2FA verification every single time I open the launcher, failing to remember my session.
- Local AI Agent Hub & Mesh Network: The bug is isolating my bare-metal AI Agent Hub setup. When remote AI agents attempt to connect to my local tools (such as JSON-RPC requests via Tailscale Mesh to LM Studio on port 1234 or Kiwix Server on port 8080), Bitdefender's active scanning engine intercepts and corrupts the incoming web traffic. This happens even though the Bitdefender Total Security 2026 Firewall is perfectly configured to allow the Tailscale subnet.
- Timeframe: Testing a clean system backup from August 15 proved that the previous software build was 100% free of this bug. This regression started strictly with the mid-September update.
- Official Status: Support confirmed the development team is looking into it, but there is no official date for a hotfix yet.
Disabling the secure web scan feature in the interface remains the only temporary workaround to keep browser navigation, game launchers, and local AI networks working. Since the support team already has my official logs via supporttool.exe, I will stop trying to post updates and simply wait for the official hotfix.
