Hello Bitdefender,
I’d like to suggest a specific security feature to help prevent browser cookie theft, which is increasingly being used to hijack Google and YouTube accounts, potentially bypassing passwords and two-factor authentication.
Could Bitdefender provide protection for browser cookie and saved-password databases, allowing only authorised browser processes to access them?
For example, if an unrelated application attempted to read or copy Vivaldi/Chrome/Edge/Firefox etc cookie database, Bitdefender could block the attempt and alert the user.
Given Bitdefender’s existing low-level Windows protection capabilities, this seems technically feasible and could provide valuable additional protection against information-stealing malware.
Is this something Bitdefender would consider implementing?……….it would give Bitdefender 1-up on the whole issue.
