Hi devs,
I just installed Bitdefender Total Security on a new Windows 11 Pro desktop, however it shows in the Bitdefender Central as Windows 10:
Hi,
If you are referring to the information displayed about the device, this is the actual version of Windows 11. Information regarding this version is, in fact, displayed with a 10.0 prefix (such as 10.0.22631 for version 23H2), both in diagnostic tools and via the command line.

So, there's nothing wrong with that display.😊 Regards
Hi @Alexandru_BD
I see in my central a login from a "central application", but I've never logged in with such a thing, I always use the webbrowser firefox.
Now this login is from when I've installed my windows 11 PC but I logged in to central using firefox, could it be that bitdefender central mistakenly read my firefox for the central application?
All my logins in the central security events page look all from my IP.
So windows 11 isn't really windows 11 then, just an other version of windows 10.
Windows 11 is an evolved, re-skinned version of Windows 10 that shares the same core architecture, and it shows up as Windows 10 in many diagnostic tools and command-line outputs because both operating systems use the exact same underlying Windows kernel version. Microsoft treats it as a distinct product line.
I'm not really sure about this one..
