Was using Norton Passwords....want to use SecurePass

OK - so I have read that Norton pasword import is NOT supported….wish I had been told that when I asked a bunch of question for moving from Norton………

Anyway - HOW can I create an import file and manually set it up with info from Norton. 140 accounts/passwords that I dont want to enter manually.

Some articles suggested a csv file format but the links head to 404 land.

Help please……a few hours into BitDefender and I am jaded already

I can relate, I've been there before with the "sometimes it works, and sometimes only 1/2 way, or not at all" with csv imports.

What I had done, was to find a PM that would import the passwords, in your case, from Norton, then export them with a format in this case, that BD SecurePass supports. From this link:

Bitdefender SecurePass can import passwords from the following password managers and browsers:

• Password Managers: 1Password, Bitdefender SecurePass, Bitdefender Password Manager, Bitdefender Wallet, Bitwarden, Dashlane, Kaspersky, Keepass, LastPass, Roboform, SaferPass.
• Browsers: Chrome, Edge, Firefox.

In my past case, Bitwarden was able to import my previous passwords, and export it into a .json file that was easily imported. I then totally deleted that Bitwarden account, as it had done its job. I was, and am using a different PM than SecurePass.

Otherwise, maybe off forum support has a trick up their sleeve to help it to go better? From this link, click on How To's & Troubleshooting, go through the prompts until you get to the black Contact Support box. When you click that, you will be shown the 3 options below, Chat can be the quickest way to get things started, and hopefully resolved. If needed, tell the Chat bot to let you talk to a support representative.
